“I have been working in travel since the year 2000 and have a particular passion for cruising. I have cruised with Cruise and Maritime, Royal Caribbean,Celebrity,Princess,Marella(Thomson),P and O, Cunard and NCL.
I love the Greek Islands and have visited Corfu, Kefalonia, Zante, Samos, Rhodes, Crete and Thassos. I have also visited Malaysia, the West & East coasts of America, Dominican Republic, Tobago, Canary Islands, Balearic Islands, Cyprus, Malta, Croatia, Portugal, Costa del Sol, Benidorm and the Cinque Terre in Italy. I particularly like City Breaks and have visited Rotterdam, Bruges, Berlin, Rome, Pisa, Warsaw, Cologne, Malaga, Chicago, Boston, Salzburg, Ljubliana, Ghent, Amsterdam,Madrid and Milan.”

“After leaving school I studied Travel & Tourism for 2 years. I started work part time at an independent travel agency and then became a full-time employee when I had completed my course. I really enjoy travelling and experiencing different cultures and surroundings.
I was proud to be named ‘Young Travel Professional of the Year - 2016’ by the Elite Travel Group.
I've been to Gran Canaria, Tenerife, Malta, Morocco, France (Ski), Turkey, Greece, Prague, Amsterdam, Madrid, Florida, Croatia, Florida, Dubai, Vietnam, France (ski), Prague, Madrid, Barcelona, Thailand, Cuba, Las Vegas, New York, Krakow, Bulgaria, Mexico, Bruges, Barbados, Madeira...
I think my favourite destinations I've been to so far are Lake Garda and Vietnam. Lake Garda is beautiful; there's so much to do in this area of Italy and the local food is amazing! My trip to Vietnam was the first time I had travelled to the Far East. I particularly enjoyed Hoi An for the culture and Phu Quoc for a nice beach stay. I loved Cuba for the beaches, Krakow for the history and the lovely old town and Barcelona for the laid back atmosphere.
Destinations on my to do list are Canada, Burma, Malaysia and Berlin and I would like to go skiing again one day! My next big trip will be New Zealand.”

“After finishing my GCSE's in June, I started working as an Apprentice at Departure Lounge Travel in July 2017. I was really pleased with my exam results, but I couldn't see myself going into further education at Sixth Form or College. Being offered this opportunity was exciting and perfect for me.
I have visited Tenerife, Lanzarote, Fuerteventura, Majorca, Menorca, Ibiza, Mainland Spain, Portugal and Disneyland Paris on family holidays but would love to explore much more of the world. Places on the top of my list are New York and Mexico”

Jenny Robson - Proprietor (By appointment only)
“I moved to London Heathrow when I was 19 and worked at The Heathrow Renaissance Hotel for 2 years. I continued my career in travel in central London at British Airways for almost 3 years before moving back to Boston where I joined Ellerman Travel and became Manager, subsequently Ellerman was taken over by Lunn Poly (now know as Thomson). This was a total of 9 years.
I moved to Stephen Walker Travel in October 1991 as Manager, turning to part time after having 2 children, Charles and Sophie, leaving 18 years later in May 2009!
I have been in travel over 35 years, travelled quite extensively throughout the world i.e. Caribbean (Barbados, Jamaica, St. Lucia, Antigua, Tobago), Middle East (Dubai and Abu Dhabi), Far East (Thailand, Indian Ocean - including Seychelles and Mauritius). Europe and Cities: Paris; Amsterdam; Dubrovnik; Rome; Venice; Dublin; Sicily; South of France; Canaries; Mainland Spain; Mojorca; Greek Isles; U.S.A. - including Florida and New York. Ski Resorts: Cervinia; Soll; Mayrhofen; Zermatt; Adelboden; Saas Fee; Wengen.”
